- The AFL Footy Show (Nine) previews each game briefly, but there's too much extraneous (non-football) guff to wade through, including a short soap opera!
- Rex Hunt's Footy Panel (Seven) covers some vaguely football-related topics, but is mostly about the panel members themselves.
- The Sunday AFL Footy Show (Nine) reviews and previews games, and does nothing else. The only problem is that if a game is on Sunday morning then the show is not aired (in WA, at least), so I haven't actually seen the show this year.
- Talking Footy (Seven) is a Melbourne-centric show which spends most of its hour running time talking deeply about some footy topic. It doesn't talk much about individual matches.
- After the Game (Ten) is a panel of comedians, plus one serious AFL reporter, who talk about each game (in preview or review). They also point to some of the comical aspects of the round. Surprisingly, they also provide the most information of any show, and aren't overly partial to Victoria.
The only show I'd go out of my way to see would be After the Game.
