There was a bit of a kerfuffle towards the end of last year when people realised that Elvis Presley's early music would come into the public domain in some countries at the start of 2005. Well, it's been three months, and the anticipated flood of reissues and remixes has not yet appeared.
The only Elvis material I've noticed is a couple of Real Audio streams at Enter the Public Domain. I hope that a large archive like archive.org can be set up as an easy place to find this material. A brief list of other songs soon to be entering the public domain is at the Elvis Australia site.
