Zimbabwe life expectancy

It can sometimes be too easy to forget that in some areas of the world life expectancy has been declining rapidly. An extreme example of this is Zimbabwe, which I have charted for 1989 and 2005.

If you take these figures at face value, and do some extrapolation, then it means that on average a person born in Zimbabwe between 1984 and 2014 would expect to live until the decade of the 2040s.
