High Court Justices

The highest court in Australia is the High Court. Each state and territory has their own Supreme Court, but the High Court has jurisdiction over all others. It seems odd, then, that since its establishment in 1903, there have been no justices from South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory or the Australian Capital Territory. In addition, of the 48 justices to date only four have been women, three of whom are currently in office.
