Exporting WA

The value of exports to China from Western Australia, population 2 million, is almost half that of exports to China from the United States, population 312 million.



There is quite a difference in what is being exported though. Chunks of Western Australia containing coal, iron ore, and other minerals are being sent in their raw states to be processed in China. The United States sells more machinery, vehicles, medical equipment and other finished products. I suspect the exports from the USA are more sustainable.
